Open an Account
To create a new Options Experts investment account:


  1. Visit the Options Experts 'Create an account' page.
  2. Select a username, enter your email address, and set a password.
  3. Review and accept Options Experts Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy by ticking the corresponding boxes.
  4. Click the 'Create Account' button.

If you skipped the email verification step after creating your account, you'll need to verify your email address to ensure your account's security.

Verify Your Identity To complete the verification of your account, we require proof of identity, which can be a copy of your valid passport or both sides of your government-issued identification card.
The document must clearly display the following details:

- Full Name
- Date of Birth
- Photograph
- Valid Expiry Date

Ensure none of these details are obscured and that the images are high-resolution and easily readable.

Verify Your Address
To complete your account verification, we require proof of address. It should include the following details:

- Your name
- Your current residential address
- The date of issue
- The issuing authority
- A reference to the issuing authority (logo, contact information, website, etc.)

Accepted documents include those issued by a bank, utility company, government agency, or judicial authority. If the document is available online, you can send it as a PDF file or a screenshot.
Acceptable proof of address documents are:

- Electricity, water, gas, or internet bill
- Driving license, residence permit, national ID, or state ID
- Bank statement or credit card statement
- Council tax or municipality bill/government tax letter
- Social insurance statement
- House rental official agreement issued by the government

Yes, Options Experts does pay dividends. How Does CopyTrader™️ Work?
You can start copying an investor at any time. Each position within a copy is treated as a single investment and opens for you with the same proportional amount relative to your allocated funds.
When you initiate copying another investor with our CopyTrader™️ system, Options Experts automatically reallocates your assets to proportionally mirror the copied investor's portfolio.

What is Copy Stop Loss?
Copy Stop Loss (CSL) is a protective feature that automatically closes a copy if its value drops below a specified dollar amount or percentage.

CSL helps safeguard your investment by selling the copy if its value declines. It is mandatory for every copy in both CopyTrader™️ and Smart Portfolios.

Your copy trader can set the CSL anywhere between 5% and 95%.

For example, if you copy a trader with $1,000 and your copy trader sets CSL at 60%, the copy will close if its value drops below 60% of $1,000. The remaining $600 will then be returned to your balance.

You copy trader can adjust the CSL to any preferred level of exposure either when you initiate the copy or at any time after. Each adjustment will reflect a percentage of your copy equity at the time of the copy.

The minimum deposit is $1000

If your account is fully verified and no additional documentation is required or criteria, you can withdraw any available funds from your balance at any time without limitation. You will receive an email confirming the status of your withdrawal within 24 hours after request.

1. Activate Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
- 2FA adds an extra layer of security by requiring a verification code from a Google Authenticator. This measure is required after your first deposit. If you haven't activated 2FA, we highly recommend enabling it in your Account Settings.

2. Email Verification
- Verifying the email address and phone number linked to your Options Experts account adds an additional layer of protection, making your account less likely to be compromised.

4. Create a Strong Password
- Ensure your password is strong by using ten or more characters, including at least one uppercase letter (A-Z), one number (0-9), and/or one symbol. Accepted symbols include: ~ ! @ # $ % ^ & ( ) - _ = + / \


By following these steps, you can significantly enhance the security of your Options Experts account.

Options Experts prioritizes the safety and security of its clients' funds. All client money is held in separate, segregated accounts with top-tier banks and blockchain explorer or qualifying money market funds.

We maintain detailed records of all transactions within clients’ accounts, including the quantities of each asset held.
In the highly unlikely event of Options Experts insolvency, these records will be provided to the liquidator to manage and distribute Options Experts assets among clients, if applicable.
Eligible clients can also apply for compensation through the Investor Compensation Schemes relevant to their regulatory body.
For Platinum, Platinum+, and Diamond Club members who are customers of Options Experts (Europe) Ltd and Options Experts AUS Capital Ltd, there is additional coverage through our private insurance policy provided by Lloyd’s of London. This policy offers protection in the event of Options Experts insolvency.

The insurance covers:
- Cash, all CFD positions, and securities (real cryptoasset positions are covered).
- Up to 1 million euros or AUD (depending on the regulated entity), subject to the aggregate limit purchased by Options Experts and an excess amount.
- Claims exceeding an initial amount of 20,000 euros or AUD.

By ensuring these measures, Options Experts aims to provide a secure trading environment for all its clients.

What should I do if my account has been blocked?
If your account has been blocked and you are unable to access your account, please contact us.

What Should I Do If I Think My Account Was Compromised?
If you suspect that your Options Experts account has been compromised, meaning someone else has gained access to your login details or any of the devices you use to log in, your account and other associated apps may be exposed to unauthorized access. Here are the steps to secure your account:

1. Check Your Account Information
- Go to your Settings and verify that the email address and phone number linked to your account are correct and have not been changed.

2. Change Your Password
- Use a strong, unique password that is long and hard to guess. Avoid using the same password you use for other services to ensure maximum security for your Options Experts investment account.

3. Activate Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
- 2FA adds an extra layer of security by requiring a verification code from a Google Authenticator. This measure is required after your first deposit. If you haven't activated 2FA, we highly recommend enabling it in your Account Settings.

5. Verify Your Phone and Email
- Ensure your email address and phone number linked to your Options Experts account are verified. This adds an extra layer of protection, making your account less likely to be compromised.

A margin call is a broker's request for an investor to deposit additional funds into their investment account to maintain their open positions. If the investor does not meet the margin call requirements, a margin liquidation is triggered. This means the broker will close all of the investor’s open trades and suspend trading in the account.

When Might I Receive a Margin Call?
You will receive a margin call alert—both within the platform and via email—if your positions are at risk of being closed due to the value of your portfolio dropping.

You'll get an alert if your portfolio value falls below 20% of its value since your last deposit or withdrawal, and another alert if it falls below 10%.

For example, if you deposit $1000 and invest all of it, leaving no funds in your ‘Cash Available’ balance, and your portfolio value drops to $20 (20% of $1000) due to market conditions, Options Experts will send you a margin call alert.

At this point, you can choose to reduce the risk of liquidation by closing some positions or by depositing more funds. Options Experts continues to send margin call alerts to help protect you from further losses until your portfolio value goes back above 20%.

These alerts are sent regardless of whether your positions are CFDs or real assets.


What Happens If I Ignore a Margin Call?

Consider this scenario: you have $1000 invested in open positions with no available cash balance. If you take no action after receiving margin call alerts and your losses increase from $800 to $1000, your portfolio value would then be $0.

At this point, Options Experts will close all your open trades and suspend trading in your account. This action may be considered a taxable event.

After closing the trades, Options Experts will review your portfolio value. If it remains negative and your account is eligible, eToro will absorb the loss and reset your balance to zero as part of its negative balance protection policy. You will be notified once this is done, allowing you to deposit more funds and continue investing.

What is Negative Balance Protection?

Negative Balance Protection ensures that if your investment account's portfolio value becomes negative, Options Experts will prevent you from losing more money than you initially invested in CFDs.

In rare cases, sudden price movements can cause your portfolio value to drop below zero when trading CFDs. If this occurs, Options Experts will review your portfolio value after all trades are closed. If your account is eligible, Options Experts will absorb the loss and reset your portfolio value to zero, allowing you to deposit more funds and continue investing as usual.
